What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitor position at Valley Comprehensive?
NATURE OF WORK: To perform normal janitorial work under the direction of the Supervisor of Maintenance and Transportation. Staff will be responsible for regularly scheduled cleaning of assigned facility as well as general upkeep of the facilities of the agency.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to perform Essential Duties as outlined below.
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- Must be able to comprehend written instructions and procedures.
- Ability to work alone on assignments and bring them to completion.
- Ability to work in adverse conditions a small percentage of the time.
- Ability to comply with Client’s Rights.
- Ability to comply with Valley’s and Division departmental safety procedures.
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
