Job Summary
The Front End Associate plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth checkout experience. This position involves supervising front-end operations, assisting customers with their purchases, and promoting additional products through effective upselling techniques. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, basic math abilities, and a passion for retail sales.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly as they enter the store and provide assistance as needed.
• Operate cash registers and Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently to process transactions.
• Maintain an organized and clean front-end area to enhance the shopping experience.
• Supervise front-end staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
• Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Utilize basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and enhance sales opportunities.
• Assist in training new associates on cash register operations and customer service protocols.
• Monitor inventory levels at the front end and communicate restocking needs to management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with customers and team members.
• Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
