POSITION: Food Service Assistant, Full Time
LOCATION: Valley Hi Nursing Home
HOURS: 6:00 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. every other weekend and holidays required
JOB SUMMARY:
Valley Hi has an established homelike, resident-centered culture, providing services ranging from short-term rehab to skilled nursing, including Hospice services. Valley Hi is looking for caring, friendly people who love working with the elderly. We have one immediate opening for a full time Food Service Assistant. The Food Service Assistants are responsible for the following duties, including but not limited to:
- Preparing desserts.
- Delivering meals to varying dining rooms.
- Cleaning the kitchen and meal areas.
- Washing dishes, putting dishes away, and cleaning cupboards.
- Performing light janitorial duties.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED;
- No experience is required, however it is preferred.
