ABOUT THE ROLE
The Prefab Project Manager is responsible for the planning and successful completion of projects. Additionally, the Prefab Project Manager is responsible for ensuring accurate documentation of the bid proposal and effective hand-off to the Prefab team by effectively communicating with all relevant business partners.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Develops and maintains long-term relationships with new and assigned customers and identifies opportunities to grow current accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal business partners across all locations to spotlight Prefab opportunities that cannot be offered at other locations.
  • Work in partnership with internal Project Managers to communicate progress on a project including updating and maintaining reporting on all Prefab projects.
  • Assist in setting and updating yearly budgets.
  • Develop and maintain a sales presentation to market and showcase Prefab projects.
  • Fully understands project’s plans, specifications, and requirements, and assists contractor’s Superintendents in project planning, determining schedules and operational phases. Shares information and seeks to troubleshoot any issue in advance of effect on the project. Escalates situations creating potential delays, unexpected expenses, or risk assessment issues to management.
  • Attend project design call when requested for Prefab and coordinate the process.
  • Assist in the inventory procurement and management processes within the Prefab shop.
  • Utilizes operations as a resource during the bidding process to evaluate the specifications, construction schedule, and labor production for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Utilizes vendors as a technical resource for material recommendations and specification clarifications.
  • Collaborates with Architects/Engineers to clarify drawings and specifications and make addendums as needed.
  • Acts as a resource for Architects, Engineers, and General Contractors on budget pricing.
WHO YOU ARE
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry or a Bachelor’s in Construction Management or engineering strongly preferred.
  • Basic Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understanding of Prefab operations and how it relates to the construction process is preferred, but not required.
  • Must be able to travel to other office locations when required. < 15% annually.

Salary : $84,400 - $107,000
