We are looking for a full time Registered Nurse to work at our Northampton Medical Center!
Position: Registered Nurse
Location: Northampton, MA
Hours: This is a 40 hour position with hours ranging from 8:00-6:00 Monday through Friday. This position takes part in our Urgent Care rotation and will be asked to work an occasional Saturday or Sunday shift.
Responsibilities: As the RN you will be working independently to provide medical care to patients and support for families. The RN will manage all types of patient messages (phone calls, PORTAL messages, patient cases) and will respond to all within 24 hours and document all interactions. As well, the RN will administer prescribed medications, treatments and IV fluids. The RN will assure that the patient’s medical needs are met in a timely and accurate way. The RN will offer support and educational direction to LPN's and MA's as needed.
Qualifications:
- A.S. degree in nursing
- Current license to practice as an RN in the state in which the Health Care Team will practice.
- Current CPR certification or commitment to obtain within three months of employment.
- Minimum three years of experience in a medical setting
