Swimming Pool Service Tech

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Swimming Pool Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, cleaning, and repairing residential and commercial swimming pools to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of pool systems, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work independently in various environments. Prior service technician experience is preferred, along with familiarity using hand tools and power tools. Responsibilities

• Perform routine pool maintenance including cleaning, chemical balancing, and water testing to ensure proper operation and safety standards.
• Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators; perform repairs or replacements as needed.
• Use hand tools and power tools to repair or replace faulty components on pool systems.
• Maintain detailed service records of work performed on each client’s pool system.
• Identify potential issues during inspections and communicate necessary repairs or upgrades to clients.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and offering recommendations for ongoing maintenance.

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair pool equipment efficiently.
• Experience with equipment repair, pool maintenance, and cleaning procedures.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance equipment.
• Service technician experience preferred; strong problem-solving skills are essential.
• Knowledge of pool chemistry, water testing, and chemical balancing techniques.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
