At Valley View Medical Center, we are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a state-of-the-art hospital environment. Our 52 medical/surgical beds, 12 acute rehabilitation beds, and 12 intensive care beds ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.
The Registered Nurse is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients based on their specific needs. This role requires a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach, embracing quality and safety at all times.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments
- Coordinating patient care delivery, facilitating problem-solving with staff members, and communicating issues to nursing administration and the Program Manager
- Monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family
- Assisting patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation
- Collaborating across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs
