RESIDENTIAL COUNSELOR
Job Summary
Valley View is a small (35-40 students) therapeutic boarding school for boys located in North Brookfield. We are seeking Residential Counselors to work directly with the students in residence to help them discover the tools they need to develop the social, emotional, and physical skills to become the best version of themselves. Counselors interact with students through on- and off-campus activities and dorm living in a structured residential program. The VVS values are Respect, Kindness, Responsibility, Integrity, and Self-Mastery.
We are seeking Residential Counselors for shifts including:
3 PM - 11 PM during the week
7 AM - 3 PM and 3 PM - 11 PM on weekends
As part of the hiring process, a background check will be performed on all potential candidates.

Responsibilities and Duties
Duties include:
- Engaging with and supervising recreational activities.
- Initiating projects and activities in collaboration with the Supervisor.
- Working as a team to meet the needs of the students and the program.
- Engaging in and modeling appropriate peer relationship skills.
- Modeling and teaching effective emotional regulations.
- Modeling and teaching effective conflict resolution skills.
Qualifications and Skills
Preferred: At least one year of related experience.
You must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.'
