What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laboratory Technician position at Vallid Laboratories Inc?
Our laboratory performs microbiological analysis of food and water products. We are in search of a technician who is able to assist the laboratory director/supervisor with facilitating testing needs and ancillary tasks.
This position includes helping receive samples, preparing supplies and media, dishwashing, and performing quality control checks.
This is a part-time position. If you are still in school, you need to be able to work at least 12 hours a week. There are more hours available during the summer.
Most importantly, you need to be able to follow directions and perform tasks reliably/correctly by yourself once you have learned them.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 25 per week
