What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Attendant position at Vallourec Star?
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under general supervision, a Warehouse Attendant will:
- Transfer material, supplies and assemblies from the warehouse to the intended party
- Perform manual and routine clerical duties in the warehousing area
- Verify and maintain inventory accuracy, stock records, logs, shortage reports and other documentation
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
- Gathers and analyzes information skillfully
- Develops alternative solutions
- Works well in group problem solving situations
- Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics
- Observes safety and security procedures
- Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines
- Reports potentially unsafe conditions
- Uses equipment and materials properly
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Required
- Forklift Certification Required
- 1 years operating a forklift Preferred
