Business Manager
Valtir is currently looking to hire a Business Manager for our Orangeburg, SC location and will report directly to Asst. Plant Manager. The Business Manager will direct, coordinate, and oversee the proper deployment of Valtir’s Cycle Count Program and overall operations of front office.

Our products are specified, sold, and installed throughout North America and in more than 100 international markets.As a Business Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that your team’s daily work assignments are completed in accuracy on time and in a safe manner. You will be expected to lead by example, be proactive in identifying and solving problems, and act with the utmost levels of integrity and safety.
Must be able to work Monday – Friday during normal business hours, some Saturdays, and/or evenings and weekends as needed during annual inventory.
Essential Functions:
- Managing site Inventory Cycle Count program, providing backup job functions for scheduling, and purchasing.
- Determining the required materials and possibly generating purchase orders/scheduling agreements.
- Ensuring the consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for production.
- Coordinating with other departments regarding production goals, timelines, etc.
- Tracking production volume and monitoring customer demand patterns.
- Scheduling and overseeing the supply and delivery of materials and products.
- Liaising with operations, manufacturing, and purchasing.
- Managing inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations.
- Ensuring materials meet specifications, quality standards, and are cost-efficient.
- All other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Plant Manager.
Essential Skills and education:
- Associate degree in business, supply chain or related field, required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Professional certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management, preferred.
- Proficient level of Microsoft office tools and data analytics via Excel, required.
- Proficiency with MRP software equivalent in a Lean environment, NETSUITE preferred.
