Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service to ensure a positive shopping experience
- Assist customers with product selections, answer questions, and demonstrate product features through engaging demos
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Support merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining attractive product presentations
- Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending complementary items to enhance sales opportunities
- Manage inventory levels through stock replenishment and merchandising to ensure product availability
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
Skills
- Previous retail sales experience preferred.
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
- Knowledge of merchandising standards and stocking procedures in a grocery store or retail environment
