What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Inspector position at Value Engineering LLC?
.Summary/Objective: The Construction Technician I supports all phases of projects and quality efforts from inception through production both in new product and in existing product. As a Construction Technician, you may be required to work on the job site and/or in the project office.
Key Result Area #1: Project Support
- Develops technical project reports and technical memorandums
- Assist with development of project work plans
- Assist in cost estimating
Key Result Area #2: Quality Assurance
- Maintains records or oversees recording of information by others to ensure engineering drawings and documents are current and that engineering-related production problems and resolutions are documented.
- Assist with quality control plans
- Inspections to ensure that it complies with plans, specifications, health and safety guidelines
- Assure the quality control plans are follow
- Assist with quality control process for submittals

- Support efforts to develop and maintain project work plans

Required Education and Experience
- Minimum 1-year relevant experience in this industry
Preferred Education and Experience
- Associates Degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience with MicroStation
- Experience Field Manager
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
- Must be able to obtain authorization to work in the United States
