The Material Handler is responsible for loading and unloading trucks, as well as shipping, receiving, storing and distributing materials.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lifting materials and stacking which weigh 50 pounds or more onto pallets for customer
- Driving a forklift
- Walking and standing for long periods
- Read and understand specific instructions on pick tickets for customer requests and review and sign shipping documents
- Required to assist with general cleaning and organization of the plant or warehouse
- Identifying product and packing for shipment
- Participate and comply with all safety orientated programs
What You’ll Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work M - F 7am to 3 : 30pm
3-5 years Warehousing experience
Forklift experience
- Must be quality minded and have a strong attention to detail. In addition, this individual must have a strong sense of teamwork, a quick work pace and a friendly, outgoing demeanor capable of getting along well with co-workers and managers.
- SAP knowledge is a plus
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs frequently and 50lbs infrequently.
- Ability to stand, squat, reach and walk between 8 - 12 hours per shift.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
