The HR Generalist Develops, manages, coordinates, and administers a variety of programs and activities covering multiple HR activities, with a strong focus on hiring and interviewing staff.
What you'll do

- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Ensure standard operating procedures within area of responsibility are observed.
- Participate in the preparation of employment contracts and offers of the selected candidates.
- Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Administer exit procedure.
- Contribute to internal transfers that take place within the Organization (analyzing what are the needs for each position and the profile of a person who can take the job).
- Keep up-to-date with the employee relations climate in the organization and support actual changes in employee relations regulations, so that the organization’s employee relations policies remain current and relevant
- Administer/Participate in grievance and disciplinary procedures.
- Develop project basis work (local policy updated, procedures, employee handbooks etc.).
- Maintain accurate records for individual employees regarding pay rates, shift details, promotions, transfers and sick leave etc.
- Assist in administration of performance management process.
- Assist in coordination of training activities, e.g. participants’ notifications, preparation of venue and training materials, coordination of training evaluation.
What you'll need
- Experience using Paycom.
- Minimum of 1-4 years HR experience
- Excellent knowledge of local language and English. Knowledge of additional languages will be considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of local labor laws
- Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) will be considered an advantage.
- Ability to work closely with other departments and managers.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and support change.
- Personal and professional integrity of the highest order
