Job Opportunity:

We are growing and we are looking for Traveling Scribe based out of Sioux Falls to join our team!

You Will Make an Impact By:

• Assisting the physician in documentation of the patient’s medical record into the electronic health record (EHR) during appointments.
• Reviewing information obtained by technicians, including exam findings, impressions/plans, procedures/consents, diagnostic results/interpretations, and prescriptions ordered by doctor.
• Sending prescriptions to patients’ pharmacies as requested by the doctor, handling prior authorization requests as needed.
• Maintaining the patient flow by knowing the doctor's schedule.
• Addressing incomplete charts, pending studies, internal communications, patient communications, pending letters, and secure messages.
• Assisting in providing patient education.
• Depending on location and business needs, may travel to other locations to support surgeons and/or OD’s as needed.

You Have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Previous medical office experience preferred
