What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate position at VanDenBerg Furniture?
Position Summary: This position is responsible for moving, loading, unloading and set-up of furniture.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Unpack and prepare furniture for delivery
- Load delivery truck
- Deliver furniture and set up in Customer's homes.
- Receive freight
- Restock showroom floor.
- Physically able to maneuver in tight spaces--ie, old house and basement stairways.
- Must have some ability to use tools and assemble pieces from a diagram.
- Must have accuracy in reading numbers and attention to detail.
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 75 - 100 lbs
- Must have a Chauffeur's Drivers License
- Must a clean Driving Record
- Must have a Medical Card
- Pass a Background Check
- Pass a Drug Test

Work hours would begin at 8:00am Monday-Friday, with varying days and end times depending upon delivery schedule.
There is some flexibility in coordinating with a school schedule.
After successful completion of 90 days on the job, a pay increase will be considered.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
