Risk Management Intern

Here’s what you can expect in the role as a Risk Management Intern:

The Risk Management Intern will work closely with the Licensing Compliance and Vendor Relations teams to support the company's compliance efforts. In this role, you will assist with the review, application, and renewal processes for business-related licenses, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and up to date. You will also play a key role in safeguarding the company’s interests by supporting vendor onboarding, conducting ongoing monitoring, and assisting with audits to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

Job Duties

• Collaborate in the development and implementation of an audit process to monitor and manage access controls effectively.
• Validate company and branch licenses through on-site reviews, ensuring regulatory compliance and accuracy.
• Conduct thorough research on state requirements related to the electronic display of licenses and ensure organizational alignment with these mandates.
• Audit and document contractual terms, ensuring all agreements are up-to-date and compliant with established standards.
• Review and update all contract data and deliverables within Oracle to maintain accuracy and compliance.
• Enhance and organize the Agreement and Seller Guide database to expedite agreement processes and improve accessibility.
  
  

What You’ll Need To Qualify

• Currently enrolled in a business-related Bachelor’s/Master’s degree program in Business Analytics or Finance.
• Computer competency with Microsoft Office, including Word typing skills at minimum 25 wpm and Excel, formulas and features.
• Great attention to detail and organizational skills with a proven ability to manage time effectively.
• Manage multiple deadlines, complete tasks timely and follow up as needed.
• Must be professional, well organized, thorough, committed, urgent and a resourceful problem solver.
• Ability to manage multiple duties with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to effectively communication and interact with internal and external customers via phone, email and fax.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.
• Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a telephone, calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
