Merchandise Buyer – Footwear Responsibilities
- Own seasonal assortment planning and execution for footwear, with a focus on digital channels.
- Leverage consumer insights, data, and market feedback to refine product strategies.
- Partner cross-functionally with planning, allocation, marketing, and operations teams to deliver aligned outcomes.
- Drive in-season read-and-react actions to optimize sales and consumer engagement.
- Participate in seasonal reviews, buy processes, and assortment submissions through merchandising systems.
- Proven buying or merchandising experience within footwear, apparel, or related consumer products.
- Strong understanding of retail metrics such as sell-through, margin, and unit productivity.
- Ability to develop consumer-informed assortment strategies and present recommendations to stakeholders.
- Solid retail and digital commerce acumen, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly driven and adaptable, with a passion for product and consumer culture; experience with merchandising systems preferred.
