The Manufacturing Associate - Mechanical is responsible for manufacturing of printed circuit board assemblies to specification and in a timely manner.

What you'll do:
- Navigate and perform transactions in Smarter Production System
- Follow safety protocols, material handling process, and written work instructions
- Set-up and operate press fit and detab machines
- Press components into circuit boards
- Perform torque testing and 1st piece run inspection process
- Maintain the condition of fixtures, tooling, and detab equipment
- Work with Coordinator and Engineering to improve processing
- Maintain a clean work area
- Performs other duties as assigned
What you'll need:
- Basic proficiency in computer systems including Microsoft Excel (vlookups, etc), Office, and Outlook
- Read, understand & write English
- Ability to work well with others or by themselves
- Detail-oriented
- Able to demonstrate sound decision making and mechanical ability
- Work safely in a manufacturing environment
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Experience using electronics prep tools
- Knowledge and use of IPC 610 and J-STD
- Experience with pneumatic presses, machine set-up, and/or prepping electronics components
- Soldering PCBA's
