Emergency Veterinarian - Westbury, NY

VCA Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center of Westbury is seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinarian to join our tenured DVM team in Westbury, New York. Current students or new graduates, apply today!

VREC Westbury is a busy, 24-hour specialty referral center. We are a Trauma Level 1 Certified Hospital, offering a highly qualified team including board-certified Criticalists and certified technicians including an ECC VTS. Our hospital is also the ONLY Specialty & Emergency hospital on Long Island to have a Social Worker!

We are a teaching hospital, which further encourages collaboration as we participate in rounds and case presentations with our intern class.

To provide world-class care with a hometown feel we need to provide our Associates with advanced diagnostic and treatment options. Our equipment includes a 128-slice CT, 1.5 Tesla MRI, two GE Logic ultrasounds, a portable ultrasound for ICU, and a hyperbaric oxygen chamber. You will have the ability to work alongside specialists in Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Oncology.

This position pays $170,000- $225,000 dependent on experience, education, certification, etc.
