Location: 2078 E Beltline Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525
Compensation: $ 20 - $ 24 / hour. Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials.
Schedule: Full and part-time positions are available! The hospital schedule will be geared toward providing our clients with as much availability as possible.
Skills: The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to:
- Physical examinations and patient assessment
- Anesthesia monitoring
- Surgical preparation and assisting
- Dentistry
- Radiology
- Laboratory work
- Venipuncture
- Catheter placement
- Pharmacy
- Patient recovery
- Compassionate care of our hospitalized animals
Qualifications:
- Must have a current veterinary technician certification in the state of Michigan or be eligible to transfer/obtain a certification in MI.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to jump in as needed and collaborate in a team-oriented environment
- Comfortable asking for help and clarification when needed and eagerness to learn
- Possess high attention to detail
