Job Title : QA Test Lead
Location : Jackson, MI-Onsite
Duration : / Term : 6 months - Contract
Job Description :
Test Lead- Responsible for planning, coordinating and leading the testing activities and deliverables of small or medium projects across geos.
Should have 9 years testing experience with at-least 4 years in leading a team of 3-6 resources.
Specific work responsibilities adhering to Testing practices :
Define strategy for test delivery(Manual, Performance, Automation etc.) in Agile and waterfall SDLCs
Test planning for requisite test phases and estimation activities
Work with Project Managers and Product owners to understand the test scope & size. Review and support test estimation.
Define, rollout and police Testing processes / methodologies and guidelines for Test delivery (Planning, Preparation, execution, reporting, post Go-live delivery). Mentor team on Testing practices, methodologies, & techniques
Interpret requirements / specifications and identify test scenarios
Ensure test cases aligned to approved requirements (Traceability Matrix)
Test Data Management Strategy and ensure test data creation is planned, identified, and executed
Ensure test cases are documented, reported, and tracked in appropriate test management tool
Ensure Test creation and execution as per plan
Ensure appropriate defect management
Review and audit test deliverables
Risk management (Identification, Escalation, and support with mitigation & contingency)
SLA Management and reporting with Measurement & metrics
Contribute and collate testing metrics and retrospection activities (like RCA and lesson learned)
Ensure specialized testing scope is identified and delivered by respective SMEs (automation, performance testing etc).
Test delivery management as per plan / milestone / goals for managed services delivery (T&M and Fixed price).
Managing the client relationship and resolution of issues
Collaborate with other teams and vendors to ensure test services are appropriately owned, planned, and completed in a timely manner.
Define and deliver UAT support
