What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Vectorply Corporation?
Vectorply has a Material Handler position available on 1st shift (Monday-Friday 8am - 4pm). There will be overtime opportunities. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for unloading trailers, locating pallets of goods to warehouse locations, loading trailers and maintaining the work area. Training will be provided. Tasks and duties include but not limited to the following:
- Inspection of materials and equipment
- Unloading trailers of finished goods
- Transporting materials throughout the facility as required
- Packaging materials in preparation for shipment
- Palletizing materials
- Booking materials into the inventory system
- Retrieving materials for shipping
- Loading trailers for shipment
- Disposing of waste materials
- Cleaning the warehouse and shipping areas
- Maintaining accurate records and placing the documents in correct location
