Position Overview
We are currently seeking a full-time Civil/Municipal Engineer to sit in our Mason City office. Our team works with local communities on a wide range of civil, municipal, and environmental projects. We are looking for a Professional Engineer or Engineer in Training who would work with CADD Technicians, Construction Observers, Land Survey Chiefs, and office staff in various capacities.

- Prepare plans and specifications for specific projects
- Work with Construction Observers/Resident Technicians during all facets of Construction
- Assist Project Manager in completing project within budget and on schedule
- Client contact including attendance at council meetings
- All other duties as assigned by Division Director
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering required
- At least 5 years of civil engineering experience preferred/desired
- Iowa PE license or EIT certification or ability to obtain either within 6 months preferred
- Previous roadway, storm sewer, sanitary collection sewers and water distribution experience preferred
- Strong written a verbal communication skills required.
