**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Insurance Billing professional to join our team. As an Insurance Billing specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely submission of medical claims to insurance providers. .
**Duties:**
- Prepare and review medical claims for accuracy and completeness
- Verify patient demographics, insurance coverage, and claims data
- Research and resolve billing and insurance issues
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Conduct thorough reviews of patient medical histories and medical records
- Handle all aspects of the medical billing process, from patient registration to payment posting
- Meet deadlines and ensure compliance with insurance provider regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve billing and coding discrepancies
- Implement and maintain a medical billing system that is compliant with HIPAA regulations
- Continuously update knowledge of medical billing and coding regulations, as well as changes to insurance provider policies and procedures
**Experience:**
- Previous experience in medical billing and coding is preferable Not Required
- Experience with medical records and collections is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
