About the Role :

We are seeking a Patient Account Specialist to join our team at Velazquez Pain Relief Center in Las Vegas, NV. This role is an integral part of our patient care team, ensuring that all financial aspects of patient accounts are handled accurately and efficiently.

Hours : Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm

Responsibilities :

  • Manage patient accounts, including billing, payments, and insurance claims
  • Communicate with patients regarding their financial responsibilities and payment options
  • Work closely with insurance companies to verify coverage and process claims
  • Ensure compliance with all billing and coding regulations
  • Assist in resolving any patient billing issues or discrepancies

    • Requirements :

  • Prior experience in medical billing or benefit verification
  • Knowledge of insurance billing and coding procedures
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of claim denials and appeals
