What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance/Housekeeping position at Velocity Esports?
Velocity Esports, a brand-new concept that features Esports Lounges, Arcade Games, and Craft Beverages and Dining, is currently seeking Housekeeping/Maintenance staff for our venue to maintain a show like appearance throughout each shift.
Daily Tasks:
- General daily maintenance of the venue such as taking out the trash when needed, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, window cleaning, light bulb replacement, etc.
- Follow all safety recommendations
- Perform daily and deep cleaning and sanitation of restaurant and arcade, floors, bathroom and grounds.
- Empty and properly dispose of all trash.
- Work with management team to address related maintenance needs inside and outside of the venue.
- Notify manager of any issues with equipment or breakage, that would affect the supply of necessary items for service.
- Handle cleaning chemicals as directed, including: safe use, storage and disposal of chemicals, following all safety guidelines and procedures. Alert Management of the need to reorder supplies.
- Ensure compliance with all Company policies, procedures, and laws, including health and safety standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned but Management staff.
Musts:
- Previous experience with upkeep and maintenance of an entertainment facility.
- Availability to work days, nights, and/or weekends as the business demands.
- The kitchen can be a noisy environment with distracting conditions – being able to effectively focus on your tasks effectively and efficiently is key.
- Stand and walking for long periods of time.
- Read and write handwritten notes.
- Lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
