About Your Role
The Assembly Technician working in our refit or post production department is the Swiss Army Knife on the production line. This is an individual with well-rounded, extensive mechanical knowledge and good interpersonal skills. Your job will be different from day to day as you perform refit work and troubleshoot challenges.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Able to work with 4WD and 2WD coil over suspension, set ride height, adjust pinion angle and proficient with alignments
- Strong understanding of steering geometry and front end adjustment for 4WD and 2WD drive vehicles
- Assemble and disassemble pre-1980’s vehicle fenders, hoods, grilles, bumpers, doors, interiors, consoles, etc.
- Able to work around fresh paint with the ability to protect and maintain quality
- Proficient with removing installed parts to install upgrades
- Strong understanding of automotive 12v electronics and the ability to troubleshoot issues
- Maintain composure under pressure and deadlines
- Install and remove interior components without damaging new leather or vinyl
- Verify options and upgrades are correct on build sheet.
- Safely test drive vehicles and closely monitor quality of drivability.
- Inspect all areas of the vehicle.
- Diagnose and perform repairs as needed.
- Hold yourself and others accountable to complete the job efficiently and accurately the first time.
- Maintain a positive attitude and work well independently or with a team.
- Abide by dress code and wear PPE as required.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work daily.
- Adhere to all health regulations and utilize all safety equipment.

- Ability to work 7am-5:30pm Monday-Friday, overtime on evenings and weekends as needed.
- Pre-employment drug screening is required.
- Must have own tools.
Education Background and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- 5 years in a well-rounded, automotive role
- Previous tuning experience preferred.
Physical Demands (To include but not limited to)
- Must be able to lift, carry, and place merchandise and supplies up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to use tools.
- Frequent standing and walking for long periods of time.
- Frequent reaching overhead and below the knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting.
- Ability to work in hot or cold temperatures for long periods of time.
- Safely operate a motor vehicle.
- This is a safety sensitive position and wearing PPE and abiding by safety rules is required.
