ob Summary : Velox is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our team. The position involvesreceiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming shipments, managing inventory, and preparing orders for construction crews. The role involves loading / unloading trucks, operating warehouse equipment, and coordinating material deliveries with project managers.Key Responsibilities : Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of construction materials, tools, and equipment.Organize and maintain inventory of supplies, ensuring accurate records of stock levels.Prepare and fulfill orders for construction crews, ensuring the correct materials and equipment are available for daily operations.Load and unload trucks with materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring safe handling procedures.Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.Coordinate with project managers and field crews to ensure timely delivery of materials to job sites.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all safety regulations.Perform regular inventory audits and assist with stock replenishment.Assist with the return, repair, or disposal of damaged or outdated materials.Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to optimize material flow and minimize project delays.Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent.Valid driver's license.Preferably 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or utility construction.Familiarity with construction materials and tools, particularly those used in utility projects.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to lift heavy objects (50 lbs or more) and perform physically demanding tasks.Forklift certification is a plus.Proficient computer skills.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Commitment to safety and compliance with all company policies and regulations.BenefitsAt Velox, our goal is to create a work environment that facilitates both personal and professional growth for our team.
