Vengeant Apparatus is a leading manufacturer of fire and specialty apparatus, a division of 911 Rapid Response, we design, construct and build fully customized equipment on manufactured chassis such as Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Kenworth and International.
Job Description:
We are seeking a knowledgeable person who has been in and around the making of emergency apparatus. You will be tasked with handling the upfitting shop which is after the fabrication shop built the truck. The upfit shop is where the truck gets completed with roll up doors, light tower, warning lights, lift kits, etc. You will work with customers on change orders, keep them up to date. You will also be in charge of the shop techs to properly manage task & inventory so deadlines can be met.
- Knowledge of Waterous, Darley, Hale, Whelen, Hansen, Amdor, etc is a major benifit
- Priotization and organization skills
- Analyze and resolve problems in his/her area of responsibility
- Demonstrated success in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
- Ability to solve problems and face challenges daily
- Have a reputable background primarily in the firefighting field is a huge benefit
