Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Front Desk Agent to join our team in a medical facility setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical administrative support and possess knowledge of medical terminology.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and provide information to callers.
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information.
- Coordinate with medical staff to facilitate patient care.
- Handle billing inquiries and process payments.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable.
- Assist doctors with medical procedures.
- Restock rooms with medical supplies
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Education & Experience
- Previous experience in a medical clinic or hospital setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and basic life support procedures.
- Proficiency in handling patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Experience with MacPractice.
- Knowledge of medical billing, coding, and authorizations.
- Quickbooks knowledge.
- Bilingual speaker
- EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
