The Lodge at Ventana Canyon Golf & Racquet Club is seeking an Outside Services Attendant to create a great experience by assisting guests and members in a positive, upbeat manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with the overall upkeep of the cart staging and cart storage areas.
• Assist in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings.
• Provide sincere and courteous service, including bag handling and club cleaning for all guests and members.
• Maintain the cart staging area in a neat and orderly fashion, including the podium and bag drop area.
• Maintain the cart storage area and cart wash down area in a neat, clean and orderly condition.
• Prepares golf carts for play following the company standards.
• Assists in educating players regarding course policy, current cart policy and speed of play.
• Maintain accurate records of golfers who rent clubs and clean rental clubs upon return.
• Assist with food and beverage activities.
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
• Maintain flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the department manager.
• May direct the start of play.
• Attends staff meetings.

Qualifications

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Able to write simple correspondence to effectively present information to one-on-one and small groups.
• Ability to apply basic math skills.
• Able to apply common sense to carry out simple one and two step instructions. Able to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
• Regularly uses close, distance, color, and peripheral vision as well as depth perception. Ability to adjust focus.
• Occasionally works in areas with moving mechanical parts; may come in contact with fumes or airborne particles.
• Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• One-month related experience as an Outside Services Attendant or training is preferred.
• Required to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Meet the physical demands of the position: Frequently stands and walks; uses hands to finger, feel or handle; talk or hear. Occasionally sits; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crawl or crouches. Regularly lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid Drivers License.
