WHAT YOU'LL DO: The Field Service Engineer, Photo Services plays a critical role in supporting the technical performance, reliability, and customer experience of photo service systems across various field locations. This position ensures that equipment, software, and network systems supporting photo services are properly installed, maintained, and optimized to meet operational and marketing objectives.
This role acts as the technical liaison between corporate product/marketing teams and field operations, helping to implement strategic initiatives and provide support for service delivery, system upgrades, and new product rollouts.

- System Maintenance and Troubleshooting
- Install, configure, and maintain ride photo systems and associated equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, with a focus on Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and uptime.
- Networking and Connectivity
- Set up and troubleshoot basic network configurations, including wired and wireless connections.
- Ensure secure and reliable communication between system components.
- Electronics and Electrical Work
- Troubleshoot and repair basic electronic components.
- Work with AC/DC voltage systems using basic skills and tools.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while handling electrical components.

- Physical Work Requirements
- Climb heights to access ride systems and components.
- Operate and work safely from man-lifts and other elevated platforms.
- Lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Work in various environments, including outdoor conditions, ride-restricted areas and high-noise areas.
- Travel
- Travel up to 60% of the year to client sites domestically and internationally.
- Adapt to flexible schedules to meet project deadlines and client needs.
- Communication and Documentation
- Communicate clearly with clients, team members, and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
- Document work performed, system changes, and troubleshooting steps.
- Provide on-site training and support to client teams as needed.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems, including basic command-line and troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of basic networking concepts, including IP configuration, routers, and switches.
- Ability to operate and work safely from man-lifts and elevated platforms.
- Understanding of basic electronic components and AC/DC voltage principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a passport for international travel.
- Experience in amusement park environments or working with ride systems is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Comfortable working at heights and in physically demanding environments.
- Work in ride restricted areas that follow strict lockout tagout procedures.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs safely.
