The Software Training Specialist provides a wide range of support to the Training Coordinator. Primary responsibilities include scheduling and delivering instructor-led training to Veoci customers, developing training content, maintaining the training infrastructure, training registration, scheduling training and post training follow up survey and training completion certificates. The training infrastructure is managed in the no-code Veoci software platform. A strong candidate will be comfortable working independently and taking initiative to improve procedures and operations for Solutions Training as a whole. The role requires strong public speaking and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the training system including registrations, scheduling classes, student cancelations and rescheduling, automation and training trainers.
  • Conduct and present research on the training program; for example, metrics on the effectiveness of the training program
  • Continuous improvement of Veoci training offerings and delivery
  • Design and develop training material for all customers, as well as unique training for clients.
  • Help develop helpdesk knowledge content, including training videos
  • Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions for clients
  • Work with customers and the development team to identify platform bugs and enhancements
  • Provide general training support to the Solutions Team
  • Assisting Analytics and Project Management Departments with other special training projects, as needed

Required Skills:

  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and writing skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, specifically PowerPoint Presentation development
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and cross-organizationally with a diverse team
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver training, comfortable with public speaking
  • Ability to work independently, as well as follow direction/instruction, as warranted

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to present ideas in a clean, user-friendly way
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Experience in adult education
  • Ability to quickly learn all aspects of a technical software product
  • Desire to learn new technologies
  • Experience using video editing tools

Location: New Haven, CT or Remote

Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent education and experience

Travel: Up to 25% travel for customer on-site training. May include international travel.
