Search Dental is a well-established and growing practice in the Mechanicsburg area. We are seeking a Full-Time Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team in Spring 2026. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for procedures and ensure comfort.
- Take radiographs for diagnostics.
- Set up and maintain treatment rooms.
- Review and update patient dental records.
- Assist with placing and contouring fillings.
- Support in placing sealants and restorations.
- Able to complete coronal polishing, fluoride applications, and oral hygiene education.
- Sterilize equipment to maintain a safe work environment.
- Provide post-procedure care instructions to patients

Requirements
What You'll Bring (Minimum Requirements):
- Active EFDA license for Pennsylvania (Or expected in the next 3 months)
- CPR certification (in-house training available)
- PA X-Ray License
- Strong communication skills to foster team spirit and ease patient concerns
- Knowledge of and adherence to OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control procedures
A Plus If You Also Have (preferred, but not required):
- Prior experience using dental software, including Open Dental
- Experience with adult and pediatric patients is a plus.
