Frequency: On-demand / 20 hrs
Job Description:
- Perform mechanical inspection using precision measuring devices/instruments at the supplier’s facility to verify compliance with drawings, standards/specifications, and other PO requirements
- Verify material certifications against PO requirements, part marking where required and visually inspect for obvious defects/ damage
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of precision mechanical inspection experience is required
- Strong understanding of, and experience with, ANSI Y 14.5 GD&T
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and basic computer skills are a must
- Experience working with tight tolerances
- Hands-on mechanical inspection experience
- Must have experience working with Mil-standards
- Previous source inspection experience
- Will be working as an independent contractor (1099).
- Must have LLC/DBA or able to obtain an LLC/DBA
