Job Summary:
The duties and responsibilities of a Billing Specialist include sending invoices and account updates to customers. Addressing, and resolving client questions and issues relating to invoices, and providing regular, accurate reports of billing data.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Update accounts receivable database with new accounts
- Ensure all customers remain informed on outstanding debts.
- Generate invoices specific to customer accounts.
- Utilize accounting software to identify outstanding accounts.
- Informing customers of any missed or upcoming payment deadlines
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs.
- Must be able to learn other accounting software systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma required; Business or Accounting degree preferred.
- Experience in Telecom Industry is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Working from office required
