Responsibilities:
- Assist the physical therapist in providing treatment to patients with various musculoskeletal conditions
- Implement therapeutic exercise programs and modalities under the supervision of the physical therapist
- Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions
- Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized treatment area
Skills:
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and other healthcare professionals
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology
- Ability to follow treatment plans and instructions from the physical therapist
- Physical stamina to assist patients with mobility and perform manual therapy techniques
- Attention to detail for accurate documentation of patient progress
Occupational Health:
- Experience or interest in working with patients in an occupational health setting is preferred but not required.
Job Types: Temporary, Part-time
