Description
- This entry level position is responsible for a variety of administrative support functions and customer service for an assigned patient care area which promote an organized, efficient delivery of care to patients
- Answer phones in a polite and timely manner
- Direct guests to appropriate office and/or resident room
- Receive inquiries and release information in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Maintain a current listing of patients
- Give directions/information to visitors
- Assist with administrative duties as directed
- Ensure guest/visitors abide by existing rules
- Must collaborate with others, organize well, accomplish tasks, solve problems and communicate effectively
- Must have experience with Excel
- Must be self-motivated and have attention to detail

Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
- Requires skills and abilities typically attained with 1 year of medical clerical experience; preferably in a hospital or physician office setting, or prior experience in customer service
- Must possess excellent organizational skills, as well as effective human relations and communication skills
