About our property: Workplace Hospitality Services is all of the best aspects of hospitality placed into a corporate workplace environment. We are the ambassadors of culture and provide industry leading hospitality services to over 50,000 office workers throughout our properties while allowing their work day to be executed seamlessly. Covering over 15 million square feet of space overall, we support daily office reservations, supply needs, provide expertise on building and local amenities as well as world class event planning services. Our Workplace Hospitality Coordinators are experts in event execution, proprietary systems administration, customer service, and so much more. What you will have an opportunity to do: Preparation Check in with Sous Chef Daily instruction Ensures assigned workstation has proper level of par for stocks and supplies according to daily menus and banquets Meal Planning Set up a la carte stations required for breakfast, lunch, or dinner Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented in accordance with standard recipes and presentations Performs banquet and kitchen line functions as directed by the Executive or Sous Chef Problem Solving & Follow-Up Report maintenance/housekeeping needs and ensure timely resolution Follow up on requests until complete Team Support and Communication Ensure communication with all operating departments Be prepared to assist team members when needed Communicate any updates or changes Knowledge & Recommendations Keep up to date with the latest cooking trends Recommend changes and additions to better operations and food offerings What are we looking for? 1-2 years previous experience Must be willing to work day and night shifts Must be able to work independently Able to be on your feet for long periods of time Able to lift at least 20 pounds At least 21 years of age Compensation: $20 - $22 Pyramid Global Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer.
