As a member of Verizon's Marketing Effectiveness organization, the Business Intelligence Senior Manager - Social will support Verizon's marketing efforts by delivering concise, actionable analysis of our marketing activity by leveraging social listening, media, and site data. We are looking for a skilled marketing analyst who is well-established as an expert across core and emerging social platforms. This person is a leader who thrives on collaboration with other teams. You'll be expected to redefine and re-energize our approach to measurement as we evolve our social strategy. We're looking for someone excited to build the process and infrastructure to measure new marketing strategies within one of the world's largest marketing organizations. Your storytelling, contextualization, and general communication skills will compel action and help set Verizon's future social strategy.
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island or Washington work location, the compensation range for this position is between $117,000.00 and $217,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.

- Re-defining how Verizon measures, generates insights, and communicates social media marketing impact.
- Conducting social campaign performance measurement, including the development of KPIs, projections, executive updates, and campaign post-mortem analysis.
- Reshaping weekly and monthly reporting to strike a balance between always on deliverables and campaign-specific work to maximize the utility of the analysis
- Developing dashboards to enable real-time performance insights.
- Guiding agency partners in the development of dashboards, reports, and the presentation of data and insights via regular and ad-hoc reporting.
- Evaluating and adopting new tools and methodologies to level up Verizon's social capabilities.
- Defining Verizon's holistic measurement strategy for social media marketing in partnership with agencies and internal stakeholders to create a best-in-class approach to understand the full funnel impact of our creative partnerships.
- Driving measurement POV for new and emerging platforms (Audio, Gaming, Mixed Reality).
- Working closely with Media Strategy, Digital Marketing, and Marketing Activation.
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience at an agency or brand.
- Six or more years of relevant work experience at an agency or brand.
- Experience delivering written and verbal communication to C-level marketing, creative, and social executives and working strategy teams.
- Experience using at least two of the following tools: Brandwatch, Crimson Hexagon, Sprinklr, DCM, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, social platform analytics (Instagram, X, TikTok, etc.), CreatorIQ, Upfluence, or other relevant tools.
- Ten or more years of relevant work experience.
- Six or more years of experience in the measurement of social or other digital channels.
- Deep experience measuring campaigns on established and emerging social platforms including an understanding of platform-specific nuance.
- Have a detail-oriented approach to holistic marketing measurement and project management.
- Have clear and assertive communication skills.
- Have a results-driven perspective on marketing.
- Can display accomplishments in data visualization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply business strategy to data analysis and recommendations.
- The ability to turn raw data into actionable conclusions.
