IT Support Specialist
Location: Lisbon, WI 53089
Status: Full-Time, Exempt
Salary Range: $65,000 to $80,000 based on experience
The IT Support Specialist will provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Utilizing the internal support desk application, will respond to employee requests, isolate problems, and determine / implement a solution. This position requires the ability to work well independently, sometimes with minimal guidance. Primary support will be for all Wisconsin locations in Lisbon, Appleton, Madison and West Salem. Some travel expected between the locations when remote support will not suffice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide end‑user IT support for hardware, software, and systems
- Respond to and resolve help desk tickets and email requests
- Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair IT equipment and applications
- Train new and existing employees on systems and application updates
- Assist with employee IT onboarding and offboarding
- Monitor system performance and run diagnostic tools as needed
- Track and manage IT assets, licenses, and equipment lifecycle
- Document solutions and create training materials
- Follow up with users to ensure issues are resolved
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree with 1–2 years of IT/help desk experience OR 3 years of related experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience with Microsoft Admin Center / Entra Domain Services
- Technical certification preferred (i.e. CompTIA)
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
