Billing and Administrative Support Assistant
St. Joseph Kervick Residence, Rutland, VT
St. Joseph Kervick Residence is seeking to hire an experienced full-time Administrative Assistant to provide excellent customer service to the Administrator, residents, and employees. This individual provides administrative support to the Home’s Administrator and will assist with billing and collect accounts receivable, petty cash management, accounts payable, resident admissions procedures and paperwork, as well as other administrative tasks such as answering phones, handling mail, and maintaining files. This person will work directly with residents and their families daily therefore a high degree of compassion and patience is required. Being comfortable working in an office with frequent interruptions and switching between tasks depending on the needs of the residents or the Administrator is essential. Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook are required. Attention to detail as well as strong communication and organization skills and a professional appearance and demeanor are a must. Qualifications: Associates degree; 2 to 5 years’ relevant experience.
