What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reserve Firefighter/EMT position at Vernon Fire District?
The Vernon Fire District is actively recruiting for Reserve Firefighter/EMT. The Vernon Fire Station is manned 24/7 with three full-time firefighters.
We are seeking active, energetic, certified individuals who are interested in supporting the Vernon Fire District while supplementing their income.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Firefighter 1 & 2 Certification, EMT Certification, Hazmat Certification, and CPR Card for Healthcare Providers.
The Reserve Firefighter/EMT position starts at $17.00 per hour. Reserves will be offered shifts to cover for full-time staff during their absence. Vernon Fire District requires Reserve Firefighter/EMTs to work one shift per month.
