Responsibilities
- Perform water intrusion and mold assessments and clearances at commercial and residential locations.
- Prepare water intrusion and mold assessment reports and remediation protocols (scope of work documents).
- Perform asbestos and lead surveys of commercial and residential structures.
- Prepare asbestos and lead survey reports.
- Perform fire and smoke assessments at commercial and residential structures.
- Prepare fire and smoke assessment reports, including evaluation of combustion byproduct data.
- Perform indoor air quality assessments at commercial and residential structures, including multi-gas monitoring, SUMMA canister deployment, and similar.
- Prepare indoor air quality assessment reports.
Skills
- Experience in evaluating the built environmment with general knowledge of commerical and residential construction and HVAC operation.
- Strong knowledge of standards and industry guidance regarding water/mold, asbestos/lead, fire/smoke, and indoor air quality.
- Proficiency in report writing, data analysis, and root cause analysis techniques.
- Licensed and/or certified in mold assessment, asbestos inspection, and lead-based paint are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for delivering effective communications to clients and individuals/personnel onsite.
- Ability to perform detailed inspections, risk assessments, and develop actionable recommendations.
- Ability to schedule assignments independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
