Duties and Responsibilities:
- Open the bakery and prepare for the day ahead
- Bake a variety of french desserts, cakes, tarts, and pastries
- Decorate cakes
- Clean and sanitize equipment and baking areas
- Prepare custom orders
- Track, maintain, and order inventory as necessary
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a baker, pastry chef, or in a similar role is required
- Ability to use professional-grade kitchen appliances and equipment
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Previous experience decorating cakes
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Team player
- Available for early morning shifts
