What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supplier Quality Manager position at Vestas?
Responsibilities:
- Deploy Vestas Quality, Safety and Environment Strategy towards external suppliers
- Manage supplier quality, capability and performance topics on behalf and in compliance with the SQD strategy.
- Secure agreement with regional QHSE Teams for completion of supplier assessments and improvement activities.
- Lead QSE activities in cases of non-quality performance and incidents with suppliers in line with Vestas requirements.
- Lead and conduct supplier development projects.
- Lead and conduct QHSE audits on site and prepare executive report
- Travel expected to be approximately 50% per year.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years' experience gained on similar position
- Previous experience and knowledge of WTG installation or services sites is an advantage, but not a must
- Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering
- Certified auditor/lead auditor ISO 9000, 14000 and 18000
- Auditor AS8000 is an advantage but not a must
- Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent will be advantage
- Competency in software, spreadsheets and database management.
Salary : $90,000 - $95,000
