What you will do at VeSync:
System Maintenance and Monitoring
- Monitor and maintain all Apple and Windows systems, applications, and network infrastructure.
- Ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of IT systems.
- Perform regular system upgrades, patches, and security updates.
User Support
- Provide technical support to users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues. Provide level 2&3 support to the Help Desk Administrator.
- Manage local AD and Microsoft Entra user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
- Conduct user training sessions and create documentation for IT procedures and policies.
Microsoft Entra (Azure) Administration
- Maintain and configure Microsoft Cloud infrastructure, including Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, Users, etc.
- Monitor on-premise and cloud performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Ensure network security through appropriate access controls, and work with the Network Administrator to make sure the traffic firewalls, and VPNs.
Backup and Recovery
- Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies with Veeam.
- Perform regular data backups and ensure data integrity and availability.
- Develop and test disaster recovery plans between on-premises and cloud.
Security Management
- Implement and enforce security policies and procedures.
- Monitor security alerts and respond to security incidents.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
System Documentation
- Maintain detailed documentation of IT infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
- Create and update network diagrams and system architecture documents.
Hardware and Software Management
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components.
- Manage inventory of hardware, software licenses, and IT assets.
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement and maintenance of IT equipment.
What you bring to the role:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
Experience: 3 years of experience in system administration or a related field.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , Security , Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, or similar.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Knowledge of networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
