Job Summary
Veterans Alliance is seeking a highly experienced AOG (Aircraft on Ground) Mechanic for a direct hire, exempt position based in Anchorage, Alaska, supporting global AOG recovery and special projects. This role is ideal for technicians with a strong background in transport category aircraft maintenance, particularly on Boeing 737, 747, and 777 platforms, who are willing and able to travel extensively.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform AOG recovery maintenance worldwide on 737, 747-400/800, and 777 aircraft
- Troubleshoot and repair complex aircraft systems during critical response events
- Utilize advanced technical knowledge of airframe, engine, and avionics systems
- Conduct unrestricted engine runs and system checks on supported platforms
- Coordinate with engineering, quality, and logistics teams to ensure mission success
- Ensure all maintenance complies with FAA regulations and internal quality standards
- Maintain a state of readiness for rapid deployment to international and domestic locations
Qualifications – Required
- Minimum 7 years of transport category aircraft maintenance experience – REQUIRED
- Hands-on experience with Boeing 737, 747-400/800, and 777 – REQUIRED
- RII Authorization – REQUIRED
- Unrestricted engine run qualifications on 737, 747, and 777 – REQUIRED
- GenFam training on 737, 747, and 777 – REQUIRED
- Formal training on advanced aircraft systems and avionics
- Valid passport – REQUIRED (must be eligible for regular international travel)
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass drug and background screening
